How to Introduce Advanced Violin Techniques to Young Children Early On  
For more than three decades The Sassmannshaus Tradition has been one of the leading violin methods for children in German-speaking countries. The Sassmannshaus Tradition is now available in English and has been adapted, both in content and songs, for today's English speaking children. In this session the co-author Kurt Sassmannshaus will demonstrate how songs and scales in different positions are easily mastered within the first year of playing as well as how advanced violin techniques such as varied bow strokes and shifting can be introduced early on.
