New Music Reading Folders

ASTA makes available folders containing string orchestra music published within the last twelve months. The folders are intended for reading sessions held by string and orchestra teachers who are interested in getting hands-on experience with recently published music. (These folders are not intended for use by student orchestras.) Reading sessions are often held during state conferences and in-service days in particular school districts.

The person receiving the folders must be a current member of ASTA. The person in each location who takes responsibility for the folders must also agree to the following stipulations, 1) placing the music back in order once the folders have been used prior to shipping to the next location; 2) agrees to pay the shipping charge to send folders to the next location (ranges between $50-$150 based on location and time neededto arrive), and 3) communicate with the next recipient regarding shipping, est arrival time and tracking number.
