Shar Presto Bow Scholarship

This scholarship will provide 10 Presto bows to individual students, grades 9-12, during the 2011-12 school year. The application deadline is November 15, 2011
 
Students must submit a short, easy to complete application that includes a statement on why the student needs the bow. The membership number of the ASTA string teacher must be included on application. These applications will be reviewed by an ASTA member committee, chaired by Andrea Meyers, our new ASTA membership chair.
 
A description of the program is included in the latest Shar catalogue.
 
In addition to this scholarship effort, Shar is providing new bows to ASTA states to present to their individual State Solo Competition winners. More information on this part of our new partnership will be forthcoming.
